Governor Cuomo Acknowledges Marijuana Legalization Is Inevitable

Governor Cuomo seems to have changed his stance regarding recreational marijuana in New York. In the past, he’s been opposed to recreational legalization. Given the recent support by Cynthia Nixon in her bid for Governor, and the fact that neighboring states are already legalizing, it seems that legalization is inevitable in the future.

Cuomo recently said that, “It’s going to be here anyway,” according to WHEC 10 News.

A panel is working on a study regarding the impact of legalization of marijuana in other states.

Cuomo hasn’t made any additional comments regarding legalization yet.
