Marijuana Event in New York Will Feature All of State’s Dispensaries

NY Marijuana Event

The Cannabis Cultural Association (CCA), a group that helps involve underrepresented communities in the legal marijuana industry by providing informational workshops, cultural programs, and community events is starting the New Year with “The Compassionate Care Act: Where Are We Now One Year Later?”

All of New York’s medical marijuana dispensaries and the New York Department of Health (DOH) have been invited to share their trials and tribulations of the past and present, as well as hopes for the future of New York’s medical marijuana program.

The CCA will also be announcing a new spring/summer community health and wellness program that will be in conjunction with the state’s dispensaries to target the elderly population to help bring in more patients.

“Medical cannabis as a valid and safe treatment for qualified New Yorkers is a topic shrouded by misinformation,” said Dr. Stephen Dahmer. “We are excited to participate in any educational activity directed at dispelling myths and misunderstandings and hopefully decreasing barriers for patients that could utilize medical cannabis to safely alleviate their pain and suffering.”

The event will be on January 31st from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm at District CoWork on 1204 Broadway, New York, NY, 10001.
